“Focus” is a crime/drama film that falls into a limbo. The drama has a lot of comedy, the crime storyline is more of a love storyline and the R rating is more like a PG-13 rating with a lot of “f” words. The best of the movie comes in the first half of it; at least it’s interesting to see the bag of tricks that the team has to steal all kind of things. A failed attempt of Will Smith to recover from his box-office bomb “After Earth”; Margot Robbie’s character felt too similar to her “Wolf of Wall Street” part. I still can’t get how Smith passed on “Django Unchained” but agrees in this lazy script.
